From station took a Car ( Rs 400/-) to reach SabujBon Resort . Its 12 kms from Bolpur station. Triple Bed cottage cost 700/- per day.
Sabuj Bon is a village resort nested deep within the village of Rasulpur belonging to Panchsowa panchayat. Its is about 12Km from Bolpur and 15Km from Shantiniketan. Within a huge compound, the accommodation is mud huts with straw covered thatched roof. The inside of the rooms were cool and provided the much needed respite from the midday heat. The rooms basic but spacious with attached toilets. For those who want more comfort, there are a couple of rooms with AC also. But the best part of this place is the greenery within it. The owner wants to develop it as a plant museum and it already has more than a lakh of plants within it. There was complete peace all around. There are a couple of ponds within the compound and the dining space is a covered area by the side of one such pond. Fish caught from the ponds is served for lunch. A leisurely stroll within Sabuj Bon or in the village or on a banks of the river Ajoy – there are many things to do while staying there.

The place is quite, calm and peaceful. In the morning, the chirping of birds is heard all around the place and at night you will see the fireflies are dancing on the top the trees. Sabuj Bon offers traditional Bengali food. Travelers may fix a one day trip to Bolpur Santiniketan from Sabuj Bon. Or if you are visiting Santiniketan you may fix a trip to Sabuj Bon. Being at Sabuj Bon any nature-lover will be spell bounded by the natural beauty of Sabuj Bon.
